Why you get Level 4 before Level 3 is beyond me. More than anything I just want a freaking level 3 Key Sphere. It's not just infuriating, I'm actually developing feelings of visceral hate for Square with every repetition of this odious pile of garbage trying to pass itself off as a legitimate part of the game. When they were adding in little extras for X Remastered like "Acquire All Items" or "Turbo speed" they should have included a "Skip the horrible Chocobo BS we were too lazy to actually develop like we did for FF9" option. This is asinine I don't want to sit here and play with this stupid minigame for HOURS just so I can get a Level 3 KeySphere and a Sigil that I won't even use until way later in the game.
But birds? Oh he loves birds and they love his ass too. The Chocobo magically avoids Balloons at all cost, weaving in and out of them like he's on a goddamned obstacle course.
Lightning dodging? dark Aeons? I'll take it all in stride but this is the most frustrating bullshit I have ever seen. This isn't a minigame, this is ridiculous crap that should never have been put into an otherwise enjoyable game. I just want the reward, I don't want to be challenged, not like this.
